The Carte Dining Chair With Arms, inspired by a design by French architect Paul Dupré-Lafon, was originally made for a Mattaliano client who needed seating for his game table (carte is French for card). Handsome decorative screws give the chair’s lean frame a high-tech touch that can give its companion piece—be it a table for dining or gaming—a contemporary update.
